½¿É«µ¼º½ ECR Network welcomes new convenors

The ½¿É«µ¼º½ Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network has appointed two new convenors following a recent open call.

Christopher Collins joins as a Convenor Representative for Scotland, succeeding Lisa Reed after two successful terms. A depute headteacher and EdD candidate at the University of Strathclyde, his research focuses on standardised testing in Scottish secondary schools, alongside work on literacy and the Pupil Equity Fund.

Natasha Boyce joins as a Convenor. A James McCune Smith Scholar and PhD researcher at the University of Glasgow, her work explores the intersections of race, gender and class, focusing on the experiences of Black girls in English secondary schools. She brings over 20 years’ experience as a secondary school teacher.

The ECR Network supports early career researchers and practitioners through events, publications, bursaries and awards, helping them build skills, networks and connections within the wider research community.

These new appointments mark an exciting step for the Network as it continues to grow its support for early career researchers across the UK and beyond.
