In this talk, I will use Anna Craft鈥檚 possibility thinking to explore how we can find new positive outcomes to explore for creativity research. So much current work looks at how creativity may predict GPA or work performance; these are (of course) important, but other constructs may be better predictors. I will instead focus on how creativity can enhance social justice, tolerance, and meaning in life. We all likely agree that creativity is and can be incredibly valuable. By better articulating the numerous benefits, we can help convince superintendents, CEOs, and funding agencies that creativity scholarship and creativity
itself is worth pursuing as a top priority.
