Securing Long-Term Value for Members

In response to feedback from members and in recognition of the financial pressures currently facing UK higher education institutions, the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Conference and Events Committee (CEC) has been actively seeking ways to keep the conference both high-quality and affordable.

To safeguard stability in registration fees, ½¿É«µ¼º½ CEC has taken strategic action to lock in a multi-year venue partnership.

We are pleased to announce that the University of Manchester will host the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Annual Conference for the next three years (2026, 2027, 2028).

Manchester remains a favourite among ½¿É«µ¼º½ delegates for its:

  • Excellent transport connections

  • Wide range of affordable accommodation

  • Accessible, modern conference facilities allowing all sessions to be hosted in one place

By securing this long-term agreement, ½¿É«µ¼º½ can now guarantee the maintenance of current ½¿É«µ¼º½ Annual Conference delegate fees until 2028, ensuring continued value for money at a time when many costs in the sector are rising.

½¿É«µ¼º½ looks forward to welcoming our community to Manchester in 2026 for what promises to be one of our most accessible and exciting conferences yet.

Funding Research

Next year ½¿É«µ¼º½ will continue to fund research by running both the BCF Curriculum Investigation Grant, and the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Small Grants Fund. Please keep an eye on the ½¿É«µ¼º½ website for more details
