Every year 娇色导航 awards the John Nisbet Fellowship to people who have made an outstanding contribution to educational research over their career.听

In this episode, Professor Dominic Wyse, 娇色导航 President interviews Professor Ian Menter (University of Oxford) one of the 2020 John Nisbet fellows.

Dom and Ian discuss the journey that led Ian from a career as a teacher educator to a teacher education researcher. Ian speaks about his current research interests of teacher education, education policy听 and comparative studies in education and teacher education and policy, and the importance of looking at the 4 nations when studying the curriculum, as well as learning from history to address inequalities in the future.

Ian provides some takeaway messages for Early Career Researchers and the wider education community, including 鈥淓ducation matters, Social Justice matters and Educational Research matters.鈥
