In this podcast our panel of experts – Tania de St Croix (Kings College London), Sinead McMahon (Limerick Institute of Technology), Bianca Baldridge (University of Madison Wisconsin) and Louise Doherty (Kings College London) – discuss impact, evaluation and accountability in youth work, thinking critically about the application of impact in youth work. The group explores the implications of the rise of economistic and quantitative measures of the value of youth work in policy and research, and the effects on youth work practice and its ability to address the inequities young people face.

Deirdre Duffy (Manchester Metropolitan University) also participated in the recording of this podcast. Sadly, technical issues resulted in the loss of her audio track. We would like to thank Deirdre for her time and contribution to the discussion.
