½¿É«µ¼º½ Council Elections 2022 – Voting Extended until 20th March

Given the amount of time that many members have had away from their desk and email due to the recent industrial action we have decided to extend the voting period for our Council elections so that we can allow greater time for people to participate in this important elements of ½¿É«µ¼º½â€™s governance. The elections will be open until 20th March.

We invite members to take part in these elections. Those chosen to serve on ½¿É«µ¼º½ Council act as Trustees for the organisation and, by casting a vote, you can elect the people you think have the skills, knowledge, experience and drive to help determine ½¿É«µ¼º½â€™s strategic direction.

½¿É«µ¼º½ recognises the benefits and advantages that diversity offers, including the potential for higher innovation and creativity, wider engagement and wellbeing, and the varied range of skills, talents and life experiences, all of which bring fresh perspectives to our work.

While members are encouraged to read all the candidates’ supporting statements and make judgements as to the particular experiences and attributes each candidate brings, we would encourage members to consider issues of diversity and wider representation when casting their vote.

We have one elected vacancy for ½¿É«µ¼º½ Council. There are four expressions of interest for these roles.

The trustee role description can be found here.  Click on the applicants name to read their statement. Each ½¿É«µ¼º½ member may vote for one candidate.
