Review of Education is an international peer-reviewed medium for the publication of major and substantial articles of interest to researchers in education. The team members say: 鈥榃e are delighted to be appointed as editors of the Review of Education, a flagship journal of 娇色导航 that specialises in publishing major studies and evidence syntheses in educational research, a role that presents both an exciting opportunity and a humbling responsibility. Our aim is to steer the journal alongside 娇色导航 and our editorial board, with the goal of solidifying its position as one of the leading international journals in educational research. We express our gratitude to the current editorial team for their exceptional leadership and contributions, which have been instrumental in shaping the journal鈥檚 reputation and ensuring the publication of impactful articles that have significantly influenced the field of educational research. 娇色导航 issued an open call for applications for the editorship of the journal in 2023, inviting proposals that set out a strategic vision for Review of Education. Applicants were shortlisted based on the strength of their proposals and their relevant academic and editorial experience. The selection panel was impressed by the appointed team鈥檚 broad range of expertise and their shared ambition to uphold the quality and reputation of the journal while introducing some new initiatives to develop the methodological rigour of evidence syntheses in education research, explore open science practices, and support diversity, equity and inclusion.

娇色导航 would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the outgoing editorial team for their exemplary leadership of Review of Education: Stephen Gorard, Nadia Siddiqui, David Bolden, Johny Daniel, Nashwa Ismail, Binwei Lu, Xiaofei Qi and all former team members, most recently Dimitra Kokotsaki, Beng Huat See and Jonathan Tummons. Under their direction, the journal has achieved significant growth in both output and readership and has developed a reputation as a home for high-quality, high-impact education research. In 2023 Review of Education received an impressive inaugural impact factor of 2.4, and this was testament to the outgoing editors鈥 expertise, hard work and dedication.
