#½¿É«µ¼º½_Leadership
This session will reflect on the challenges in carrying out research during a time of national lockdown. It will use a real example of a study which explored how school leadership played a part in maintaining a sense of community and caring for teachers, children and families while also supporting teaching and learning in a more digitalised world.
It will be stimulated by data collected in the early stages of the pandemic from the four jurisdictions of the UK, using semi-structured interviews with headteachers of special schools, primary schools and high schools. These will be contextualised in relation to national and international literature on models of leadership and generated a new framework for engaging with leadership during a time of crisis.
There will be an opportunity for discussion and sharing of ideas.
