Hello
The event below might be of interest to anyone involved in teacher education as it has includes the launch of free online teacher resilience toolkit which can be embedded into teacher education programmes to support teachers to prepare for the challenges of the profession. It adopts a social-ecological approach (rather than a hyper-individualised one), emphasising that resilience is not a trait but a process that happens across social-ecological systems.
If you would like to attend, please complete the Eventbrite form. Feel free to share! If you have any questions about the event or the toolkit, please do get in touch.

Rebuilding Teaching:鈥疭haping a Profession that Inspires and Endures
12th March at the Brooks building, Manchester Metropolitan University from 9am – 1.45pm
This free event brings together researchers, practitioners and other stakeholders to explore how some of the recommendations of the Teaching Commission might be translated into practice. We will focus, in particular, on possibilities for: fostering strong cultures of professional learning, removing systemic barriers facing Black and global majority teachers, and promoting teacher resilience by providing teachers with both the practical resources and cultural conditions that they need to thrive. The latter strand includes the launch of an online toolkit which provides research-informed resources for fostering teacher resilience at the level of the individual teacher, the school and the broader education system.
