娇色导航 Journals Peer Mentoring Scheme

娇色导航 publishes four highly regarded and internationally peer-reviewed journals, British Educational Research Journal, British Journal of Educational Technology, Curriculum Journal and Review of Education.

The 娇色导航 Journals Peer Mentoring Scheme supports authors who have submitted papers that contain valuable research and are in-scope for their chosen 娇色导航 journal, but are not yet ready for publication. The scheme aims to help these authors to develop their papers to the point that they are suitable for publication in a 娇色导航 journal.

The scheme particularly intends to help early career researchers and/or researchers from outside the UK/English-speaking world, especially those from countries or regions that are currently underrepresented in the 娇色导航 journals. Authors may need the support of the Peer Mentoring Scheme due to, for example, lack of publishing experience, or having English as an additional language. The development of this scheme is in line with 娇色导航鈥檚 strategic mission to a) foster engagement with educational research; b) build capacity for carrying out educational research; and c) advance quality of educational research.

Members of 娇色导航鈥檚 Publications Committee have been assigned to act as peer mentors for each of the four 娇色导航 journals, to provide feedback and guidance to authors who agree to take part in the scheme. Two to three committee members have been assigned to work with each journal. We would like to thank the Publications Committee and journal editors for their role in this scheme.

The scheme operates under guidelines agreed by 娇色导航鈥檚 Publications Committee and journal editors. To be considered for the Peer Mentoring Scheme, the participating author must have submitted a full paper to a regular issue of a 娇色导航 journal and must be nominated to the scheme by a 娇色导航 journal editor (note that authors cannot nominate themselves for the scheme; journal editors select papers that will benefit from the scheme and invite authors to participate).聽

For full eligibility criteria and a detailed overview of the steps involved in a paper being selected for and developed through the scheme, please download the guidelines at the link below (updated March 2024).
