New Chair of ½¿É«µ¼º½â€™s Conference & Events Committee

½¿É«µ¼º½ is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Aimee Quickfall as the next Chair of the Conference & Events Committee (CEC). She will take up the role on 1 January 2026, following the conclusion of Professor Mhairi Beaton’s term.

Aimee is a current ½¿É«µ¼º½ Council member was elected unopposed to the position. Her application was reviewed by members of Council and formally endorsed. With extensive experience in ½¿É«µ¼º½â€™s events and governance, she will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our conferences and events while serving as a trustee to help guide the strategic direction of the association.

Aimee will work closely with the current CEC Chair throughout 2025, attending key meetings and the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Conference 2025 in Sussex to ensure a smooth transition.

We look forward to her leadership in this important role.
