Elizabeth Pargeter-Takhar, Ms

Doctoral Researcher at University of Hertfordshire

Beth is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Hertfordshire, interested in the changing nature of the headteacher role and challenges leaders face in promoting social justice and health in their school communities.

She has a background in Educational Psychology, having previously worked as an Assistant Educational Psychologist in a large local authority Educational Psychology service. Beth is also a former SEND Lead Practitioner, with specialism in developing bespoke programmes of support for children and young people with ASD and complex needs. She is particularly passionate about developing inclusive and equity based practice in schools, and safe spaces for young people to explore issues and challenge each other.
