Dr. Judith Fathallah is a Senior Research Associate at Lancaster University and a Research Fellow at Coventry. She is the Research Lead for the Open Book Collective (OBC), a UK-registered charity that aims to foster a more equitable and sustainable and future for Open Access scholarly book publishing by bringing together publishers, infrastructure providers, and scholarly libraries to create a mutually supportive ecosystem. In addition to her work in scholarly publishing, Judith also has personal research interests in new media and cultural studies, and published her third monograph as a Diamond OA book in 2023 with OBC publisher member mediastudies.press.
