Kate is strategic lead for research relating to learning practice at the Fitzwilliam Museum. She worked as a primary and early childhood teacher before moving into museum education, and now leads a training programme encouraging creative teaching with objects. Kate’s research focuses on visual literacy in young children and on practitioner-led action research in museums. She previously worked as Education Researcher for The National Gallery and the University of Cambridge Museums on the AHRC funded Practical Evaluation Project.
