Laurence Lessard-Phillips is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology, School of Social Policy & Society at the University of Birmingham. She has held posts at the University of Manchester and the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute. She holds a DPhil in Sociology from the University of Oxford (Nuffield College).
