Lisa is the ECR Network Regional Representative for Scotland
Lisa is a lecturer and ECR in Teacher Education at the University of Dundee. She was awarded her doctorate from the University of Cumbria in 2021, which is focused on the importance of relationships for teachers in the context of their capitals, agency, and resilience within the workplace. She moved into secondary teaching in 2001 following a career in finance management and completed her Masters studies with The Open University in 2013, which opened up her wider understanding of education as a discipline.
Lisa teaches on the MA Education and MEd programmes. She is Module Leader for the 4th year MA module: Research and the Teacher and is Curriculum and Assessment convenor on the MA programme.
Lisa also supervises students on their dissertations as part of the MEd and is second supervisor on a doctoral study which is focused on student experiences in ITE and their understanding of social justice.
