Mabel has a strong commitment and passion for equality, diversity, and social inclusion. She is a Senior Lecturer in Education at London Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on creative strategies for learning and teaching, including action research in her own teaching in higher education. Currently, she does research with an musician-led organisation of the voluntary sector, Musiko Musika, that works with music in early years settings, schools, and community spaces. Mabel is a member of the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Council.
