Nick Johnson, Mr

Chief Executive at British Educational Research Association

Nick has been the Chief Executive Officer at 娇色导航 since April 2012, leading the organisation through a decade of growth, renewal and increasing influence. He has overseen a substantial increase in membership and the growth of 娇色导航鈥檚 networks, enabling a wider and more inclusive range of researchers – particularly ECRs – to contribute to and shape the field. Nick has also steered 娇色导航 through several major initiatives that have shaped the national research landscape. These include the 娇色导航-RSA Inquiry into Research and Teacher Education (2014), and Education: The State of the Discipline (2023).
Prior to joining 娇色导航, Nick held senior positions across public policy and the voluntary sectors. He has advised government at national and local levels and worked with organisations such as Chatham House, the Local Government Association and Ofwat. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Chair of governors at his local school and a former trustee of Young Citizens.
