Sheeba is the Course Lead for PGCE Secondary and the Subject Lead (Science) at the University of East London. Her research areas include developing the effectiveness of practical work, using cognitive science-based strategies to improve teaching and learning, and examining students' views about employability and teacher education. Her thesis is on 'Does the new science GCSE curriculum improve the effectiveness of practical work in Key Stage 4 classes?
