Sundas is a researcher and educator at the University of Glasgow. Her research explores the use of indigenous and traditional/place-based environmental literacies for sustainability education in contemporary contexts. She uses decolonial and pluriversal frameworks with ecopedagogy, deep ecology, and Islamic environmental philosophy to create impactful approaches to education for sustainability and regeneration.
