Thomas is a postdoctoral researcher in physics education at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. His research focuses on conceptual understanding in physics, digitally supported learning and the development of educational assessments. Alongside his research, he teaches physics education courses for trainee teachers in all school forms, covering topics including mechanics, electricity & magnetism, optics and modern physics. He also contributes to undergraduate teaching in theoretical physics.
