Vanessa Ellis Colley, Dr

Vanessa Ellis Colley has a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Saskatchewan. She received the Teacher Doctoral Fellowship and Graduate Teaching Fellow Scholarship from the University of Saskatchewan. Her research interests are higher education leadership, policy development, governance and human resource management. Vanessa has lectured in human resources management, leadership theory and organizational development. Vanessa has several years’ experience in higher education and undertook her Ph.D. research investigating the evolved responsibilities of academic middle managers in research-intensive universities. Her publications include Access to Education in Rural and Urban Primary (K-6) Schools in Jamaica during COVID-19; Exploring a hybrid leadership model in higher education institutions in times of crisis: The case of mid-level executives. She is a co-investigator for Exploring the psycho-social, academic, and financial well-being of international students
