½¿É«µ¼º½ Doctoral Thesis Award Winner
Yasamin Alkhansa completed her PhD at the Center for International Education (CIE) at the University of Sussex, in 2019. Her thesis, was an ethnography of official history as lived and enacted in schools in Iran which won ½¿É«µ¼º½'s Doctoral Thesis Award. She did a post-doctoral fellowship on the politics of memory and schooling in authoritarian contexts funded by ERC and is now writing a monograph to be published by Palgrave Macmillan on official history and narrative change as constructed in school textbooks in Iran since 1979. She has been awarded Otto Bennemann Fellowship at GEI the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media in Germany and is a Research Associate at the University of Sussex.
