Dr Alicia Blanco-Bayo is a senior lecturer in Early Years Education in the Faculty of Education at Edge Hill University. She is interested in relational pedagogies with particular emphasis on the development of spontaneous bonds of love and affection during assessment processes. She is currently working on two projects with a focus on the development of emotional competence because of reciprocal love.
