Angela Schofield is a senior lecturer at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), where she teaches across teacher training programmes and a range of education courses within the Institute of Education. Angela began her career as a business lecturer, spending eight years teaching on a variety of further education and higher education business qualifications in a further education college before joining NTU in 2015 to deliver teacher training. In addition to her role at NTU, Angela holds various external appointments, including external examiner for teacher training programmes supporting quality assurance. She has also been actively involved in school governance, serving as both a school governor and chair of governors, in both primary and secondary school. Angela’s commitment to education and her diverse experience make her a valuable member of the academic community, dedicated to enhancing the quality of teacher training and education.
