Carolyn Cooke, Dr

Senior Lecturer in Education at The Open University

Carolyn Cooke is a senior lecturer in education at the Open University, having worked in music education and teacher education for more than 20 years. Her research focuses on professional learning (particularly teacher education and higher education Scholarship of Teaching and Learning), the arts as part of transdisciplinary education, creative methodologies and posthumanist theories. She is a co-editor of Routledge鈥檚 Learning to Teach Music in the Secondary School series, as well as publishing articles on a wide range of topics. She is currently involved in an international research project exploring young people鈥檚 art for action for climate change justice.
