Chereen Rain is Lead Specialist for Racial Literacy at Education Scotland, where she spearheads the nationally acclaimed Building Racial Literacy programme. A former primary school teacher, Chereen brings classroom experience and a deep commitment to equity into her leadership of anti-racism initiatives. Chereen completed an MSc in Social Justice and Community Action at the University of Edinburgh and has contributed to projects such as the Nuffield Foundation鈥檚 Love to Read and the international Playful Schools Conference. Her work focuses on empowering educators to embed racial literacy and inclusive pedagogy across Scottish education.
