Professor Colin Foster is a Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematics Education at Loughborough University and a Past President of the Mathematical Association. Previously, he was a co-convenor of the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Mathematics Education special interest group. Colin’s research interests focus on the learning and teaching of mathematics in ways that support students’ conceptual understanding. He led the design of a completely free, fully resourced, research-informed school mathematics curriculum through the Loughborough University Mathematics Education Network, which he directs at Loughborough University.
