David Ellis is the Curriculum Lead for Project Management within the School of Management. David is an AgilePM Practitioner and a PRINCE2 qualified project manager with 20+ years’ experience in private and not-for-profit sectors, including telecommunications, ICT, sustainable energy, rural development and agriculture. Prior to becoming a full-time academic, he coordinated the UK involvement in two European Commission funded projects designed to improve energy efficiency.
David’s teaching experience stems from delivering TQM training in the 1990s, designing and delivering CPD courses in Project Management through the University’s Centre for Lifelong Learning and developing and facilitating workshops on strategic planning for charity CEOs (funded through the UK Government’s Cabinet Office). He currently teaches Strategic Portfolio and Programme Management for MSc students and runs bespoke project management training for a public sector client.
