Eefje Smit is a geography teacher educator at HU University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. She is concerned with the subject pedagogy curriculum and is interested in issues related to interdisciplinary teaching and sustainability. Since 2021 she has been working on a PhD research project into the development of pedagogical content knowledge of future geography teachers.
