Fajer Bin Rashed is an Assistant Professor at the Australian University, Kuwait. She holds a PhD in Language and Literacy Studies. She is a published researcher, an associate editor and active reviewer for interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests include (early) literacy education, bilingualism, multiculturalism, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in education. She leads a one-of-a-kind online Picturebook Club initiative where adult readers explore picturebooks to promote SEL, connection, and thoughtful dialogue.
