Francisca Beroíza-Valenzuela, Dr

Francisca Beroíza-Valenzuela holds a PhD in Education from the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación in Chile, a Master’s degree in Educational Research from the Universidad de Chile, a Master’s degree in History from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She is also a certified Primary and Secondary Education teacher with a specialisation in Language, Communication, and Social Sciences. She is an academic and researcher specialising in education, with a focus on gender equity, artificial intelligence in education, educational governance, and academic pathways in STEM. Her work integrates advanced quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. Her work has been supported by national grants from the Chilean Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID). With over a decade of experience across school and university contexts, she currently serves as an academic researcher at the Faculty of Education, Universidad de las Américas (UDLA), Chile.
