Greg Dempster is the General Secretary of the Association of Headteachers and Deputes in Scotland, a role he has held since 2004. AHDS is a union for promoted teachers in Scotland’s pre-primary, primary and additional support needs schools. With a membership of 2,800, its membership includes over 80 per cent of Scotland’s primary headteachers.
