Primary education teacher

Jessica Burgess is a qualified primary education teacher currently studying for her Master’s in Education. Her passion lies in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments that empower all students to succeed, regardless of their background. Jessica is particularly interested in inclusive learning, socioeconomic disparities in education, gender inclusive practice and curriculum design. Through her classroom experience, she has developed a strong belief in the importance of equitable practices and research-informed teaching. As part of her postgraduate studies, she is exploring how professional learning and curriculum planning can better support social and emotional development in primary settings. She is committed to bridging the gap between educational theory and classroom practice and aims to contribute to broader discussions around inclusive education policy and teacher training. Ultimately, Jessica wants to help shape a system where all learners – regardless of need or circumstance – can thrive both academically and emotionally.
