Joanna McIntyre is Professor of Education at the University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on initial teacher education and refugee education, with a particular interest in how education can engage with and elevate the voices and perspectives of those often marginalized in society. She has contributed to national sector development through roles on key advisory bodies, including previous leadership of the Russell Group ITE network and membership of UCET’s Executive Committee. Jo established the international Hub for Education for Refugees in Europe (www.hubhere.org).
