Khasiba Omar, Miss

Disability and Inclusion Adviser at The University of Law

Khasiba is a Disability and Inclusion Adviser at The University of Law (ULAW), where she collaborates closely with academic and professional services teams to implement inclusive practices, advise on reasonable adjustments, and ensure equitable access to learning for students with diverse needs. She has been working in higher education for many years now, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.

She also serves as the Chair of the NEON Access and Outreach for Disabled Learners group, where she actively contributes to national conversations on inclusive policy and practice in higher education.

Khasiba's academic contributions include publishing articles such as Eight Steps to Academic Success in Times Higher Education, Bridging the Gap: The Role of Social Class in Shaping Educational Opportunities, and A Reflection on Shaun's Story: Troubling Discourses of White Working-Class Masculinities by Diane Reay (2010) in the Birmingham City University Education Journal Magazine.

In addition to her publications, Khasiba has presented at numerous prominent conferences, including those hosted by ULAW, NADP, AMOSSHE, and CSPACE, where she has shared her insights on disability, inclusion, and higher education policy.
