Köksal Banoğlu is a postdoctoral researcher at the Education University of Hong Kong. His recent work has been published in leading journals, including Educational Management Administration & Leadership (2025), Leadership and Policy in Schools (2025), Leading & Managing (2025), Journal of Professional Capital & Community (2025), School Leadership & Management (2024), Journal of School Leadership (2023), and Professional Development in Education (2023).
He currently serves as chief editor of Research in Educational Administration & Leadership (REAL), a WoS- and Scopus-indexed, open-access, non-commercial international journal. In addition, he contributes as interim assistant editor for the International Journal of Leadership in Education and serves on the editorial boards of Review of Education, Methodological Innovations, and International Studies in Sociology of Education.
