Marie Huxtable, Dr

Visiting Research Fellow at University of Cumbria

Marie Huxtable practiced as an Educational Psychologist in English Local Authorities. For the final 15 years of her career she developed and implemented an inclusive educational policy to improve educational experiences for school children and educators. She researched her practice employing Living Educational Theory Research to create her doctoral thesis, ‘How do I Evolve Living-Educational-Theory Praxis in Living-boundaries?' which she successfully defended in 2012.

She is currently a visiting research fellow with the University of Cumbria and Leading Editor of the Educational Journal of Living Theories (EJOLTs). EJOLTs is a platinum open access journal published online (https://ejolts.net/). Marie continues to support international communities of professional practitioners to develop knowledge, understanding and practice of Living Educational Theory Research as Continual Professional Development, and support others to do so too.
