Dr Nashwa Ismail is an academic researcher in Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS) – Imperial College London. She has an MSc and a PhD in Digital Education from the University of Southampton, and she is a Fellow (FHEA) at Advance HE. Nashwa is a member of the ½¿É«µ¼º½ Education Technology special interest group. Her current role is Research Associate in Generative AI (GenAI) for teaching and learning in Higher Education. In her research, she has undertaken various roles in Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL)-related projects abroad, primarily focusing on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Games-Based Learning (GBL). Her research projects have spanned countries such as Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, the Middle East (Egypt, Saudi Arabia), Myanmar, Thailand and the United States.
