Dr Pratibha Ram, is an assistant professor in marketing at King’s Business School, King’s College London. With educational leadership experience across higher education in Singapore, Hong Kong and the UK, she brings diverse cross-cultural insights to her academic practice. Her research focuses on consumption and social sustainability, underpinned by a strong commitment to equity and wellbeing in academia. She leads projects that advance inclusive pedagogy, support mental health, and promote social impact in higher education. Drawing on these experiences, Pratibha reflects on the contemporary landscape of education-focused academic careers in her piece, ‘Beyond the Lecture Hall: New Horizons for Education and Teaching-Focused Academic Careers’, exploring how universities can empower, value and support those who champion teaching and educational leadership.
