I teach and research in the field of primary education. My research centres around ethnography and actor-network theory, exploring a variety of influences on the development of teachers' professional practices. I am a member of the International Teacher Education Research Collective (@_ITERC) – a collaboration of international researchers focused on issues surrounding the knowledge base, ethics and politics of teacher education. Additionally, I am part of the organising committee for the annual Oxford Ethnography in Education Conference.
