Dr Samantha Jayne Hulston is currently a recipient of a ½¿É«µ¼º½ Early Career Researcher Career Development Fellowship. Samantha completed her PhD in Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. A former early years teacher, Samantha’s classroom-based doctoral research explored young children’s engagement with storyworlds during a play-based activity called curated storyworld play. Drawing upon video observation methods and multimodal analytical approaches, her research attended to young children’s unfolding movements as they interacted with narratives, play-based objects and other people in the classroom.
