Sandra Leaton Gray, Professor

Sandra Leaton Gray is Professor of Education Futures at the UCL Institute of Education. A sociologist, her work examines the sociotechnical conditions shaping contemporary education systems, drawing on critical theory and the sociology of knowledge. She specialises in digital governance, data ethics, and the historical development of educational infrastructures and policies. Her publications address how emerging technologies reconfigure professional judgment, institutional power and learner agency. She has served in expert advisory roles for governmental and professional bodies in the United Kingdom and internationally.
