Harald Eriksen

Harald Eriksen is an associate professor at the Faculty of Education and International Studies, specifically within the Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education at Oslo Metropolitan University. With a background in educational assessment, writing instruction and history education, Harald’s research interests lie at the intersection of assessment practices and teacher professionalism. His PhD focused on educational assessment, providing him with a foundation to explore how assessment shapes teaching and learning dynamics. Currently, he is leading an innovative project titled ‘Educators and Learners Meet Artificial Intelligence’, which aims to investigate the perspectives of both teachers and students regarding the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings. Prior to his academic career, Harald gained valuable experience working in upper secondary education, further informing his research and teaching practices.
