Michela Gronchi

Adjunct professor at Ca’ Foscari University

Michela Gronchi is an adjunct professor in Educational Linguistics at Ca’ Foscari University and a research fellow on the EU-funded EcoStories Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) project. She is also a PhD candidate at the University of St Andrews, where she explores EMI teacher identity at the intersection of sociolinguistics and education. Her research interests include teacher development, CLIL and EMI contexts. Michela is passionate about creative, participatory research and supporting EMI teachers in multilingual classrooms. She is the author of a 2024 article in Educational Linguistics (De Gruyter), titled ‘Language assessment in EMI: Unravelling the implicit–explicit dichotomy’.
