Ruby Bano, a Master of Education graduate in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Assessment from Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), is passionate about advancing innovative approaches in science education, assessment and STEM pedagogy. Her thesis focused on evaluating teacher-designed STEM curricular units through design-based research. With experience as a teacher, coordinator and researcher, she has contributed to large-scale science assessments, facilitated STEM and assessment workshops, and coedited Educational Games for Science Learning: A Teacher’s Toolkit (AKU-IED, 2025). Her work focuses on game-based learning and inclusive pedagogy to create active and equitable learning experiences for students.
