Tom Ellis started working at Poole Farm in 2022, where he leads work with children and young people. It’s a very exciting job – no day ever being the same. He loves to share his passion and knowledge and to highlight the importance of caring for nature and what we can do to help. He is completing an Integrated Degree Apprenticeship in Youth and Community work at Plymouth Marjon University, where he is combining his background in conservation with youth work. This is a powerful combination – bringing nature awareness to young people and showing how nature can help young people combat stress and anxiety – at a time when it has never been needed more.
