Walaa Mouma is a PhD researcher in Applied Linguistics at Swansea University, where her research focuses on multilingual approaches to English language teaching to migrants. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Damascus University, an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from University of Warwick and an MSc in Social Research Methods from Swansea University. She is also CELTA-certified.

Her work brings together her interests in language education, multilingualism and research methodologies, contributing to innovative perspectives on English language teaching in the Welsh context.
