Zaina Aljumma is a PhD researcher at Swansea University within the Welsh Language Department, School of Culture and Communication. Her ESRC and Welsh Government-funded research explores Welsh-medium education, multilingualism, migration, and policies in Wales. She is also an educational psychologist, she holds an MA in Special Educational Needs and Additional Learning Needs (SEN/ALN) Dyslexia, and an MSc in Social Sciences. Alongside her research, she works as Race Equality Charter Officer at The Open University and serves as Vice President of Adult Learning Wales. Her work focuses on equity, inclusion, language, and community engagement across education and policy contexts in Wales and the UK.
