Ana B. Bernardo holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Oviedo, where she currently serves as a professor in the Department of Psychology. Her research focuses on understanding the psychological and educational variables that influence learning, academic performance and university dropout. She is a member of the ADIR research group, and currently leads a national research project on university dropout in Spain. Her work aims to identify risk and protective factors linked to academic adaptation, providing evidence-based insight to inform institutional strategies that enhance retention, promote student autonomy and improve the overall quality of higher education.
